Our Principle: No Comment Hiding
Speech stays visible to everyone, unless a lawful takedown is required.
Do:
- Be civil: debate ideas, not people.
- Stay lawful: no threats, illegal content, CSAM, or incitement to violence.
- Respect privacy: no doxxing or posting private info.
- Cite sources where possible; be transparent about affiliations.
- Use categories & regions accurately.
Don't:
- Spam, scams, or malware links.
- Impersonation or misrepresentation.
- Harassment, targeted hate, or coordinated harassment.
Moderation Model (transparent):
- Comments aren't hidden or silently removed.
- Author can edit (with "Edited" label + history) or delete (tombstone remains).
- Legal removals show a public tombstone with date & reason.
- Repeated severe violations may lead to account restrictions (e.g., posting limits), but past comments remain visible with tombstones.
